`SMALLINT`

The 16-bit SMALLINT data type is for compact data storage of integer data for which only a narrow range of possible values is required.Numbers of the SMALLINT type are within the range from -2¹⁶ to 2¹⁶ - 1, that is, from -32,768 to 32,767.

`INTEGER`

The INTEGER — or INT — data type is a 32-bit integer.Numbers of the INTEGER type are within the range from -2³² to 2³² - 1, that is, from -2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647.
